Ci sono linfe segrete, trame nascoste, nella concatenazione complessa degli eventi esistenziali, al ritmo del tempo. Accadimenti che spesso “ritornano”, con veste rinnovata, negli stessi spazi delle antiche azioni. Così anche nei territori dell’arte, intesa in senso ampio, come facoltà irrinunciabile dell’Uomo.
Fra vocazione consapevole e suggestioni inconsce, non è forse così azzardato ritrovare un richiamo lontano, ma potente, fra il cinema e le arti visive, in una sede Castiglioncello di Rosignano Marittimo (LI), che fra la Livorno pittorica ed il grande cinema internazionale, ospita ancora centri d’arte, iniziative e galleria di alto profilo.
Fra queste una sede espositiva, dall’impronta contemporanea, la “In Villa” diretta da Roberto Odierna.
Già nipote ed erede di Renato Vigo, maestro surrealista del Novecento, Roberto Odierna è infatti anche parente di Giorgio Menicanti. Personaggio di per sé, che già molti anni prima del periodo in cui si gira “Amici Miei”, il capolavoro di Mario Monicelli sul carattere toscano, pare avesse ispirato, con le sue goliardiche iniziative burlesche, il personaggio del Conte Mascetti, figura oramai archetipica, impersonata nel film dall’indimenticabile Ugo Tognazzi. E Odierna, forse anche perché consapevole dell’importanza del messaggio di un vissuto passato, prosegue, questa volta nella ricerca prediletta nei territori dell’arte contemporanea, una tradizione familiare legata alla creazione e all’ideazione libera, in qualità di gallerista.
Un dialogo indissolubile fra realtà e finzione, riportato all’attenzione nel libro di Fabrizio Borghini e Jacopo Nesti “Caro, Amici Miei”, presentato lo scorso 23 febbraio, proprio a Castiglioncello, nella sede del Cinema. Introduzione vivace, come nello spirito stesso del film cult poi proiettato, a cui si è dato spazio anche alle testimonianza dei parenti presenti. Frammenti di ricordo, “le immagini dell’Africa” rievocate da Odierna, dove Giorgio, anch’egli Conte, si trovava con la famiglia. Ma quanto basta per confermare una storia più completa, dove la realtà si riconferma ancora come alleata, solo apparentemente paradossale, dell’ideazione.
